A replica of the galleons that once plied the Philippine-Mexico-Spain trade routes docked in Manila last Oct. 6 at Pier 13, South Harbor, it left for Cebu by Oct. 9.
A friend and I was able to see and board it on it's second day here in Manila.
We weren't too happy with how the Filipino organizers handled the droves of visitors who wanted to board the ship though, at one point they announced that the Galleon will no longer take in visitors because it was nearing past visiting hours.
We would've understood and just left if only we haven't been waiting in line for hours already. Luckily the mayor of Manila himself dropped by and allowed everyone who were left in line to see it and climb aboard it, hence the photo I was able to take with him behind me.
And here's some more of the shots I took. Enjoy :D
