Guilty...

Ok, I just made a new blog. Haha. When will I ever learn???

The thing is, I already made this account at Wordpress right after I closed down my i.Ph blog. Kaya lang, biglang laging password unaccepted ako, for reasons unknown.

Kaya lang, me magandang lay-out kasi dito (this one I'm using) na type ko talaga so ni-try ko ulit yung password, ayun, gumana naman. Haha. I now have two blogs.

Ayun. Anyways, I'm here at the cafe with my sisters. Just internetting the Black Saturday afternoon away. Ciao!

Back from Ilocandia (from my Multiply)

blurry seashellHello every one, just got back from my Ilocos Sur trip, this time with schoolmates Reg, Bry, Jhoan and Angel. Saya-saya. We stayed at Ghwen's house for a total of 4 days and 3 nights from Saturday afternoon until Tuesday evening instead of the planned 3 days and 2 nights :D

We rode a Partas Bus from Cubao going to Vigan and bumaba kami sa town called Sta. Lucia (hanggang ngayon di ko sure kung "Lu-see-ya" ba or "Lush-ya" ang pag-pronounce nila), siya yata ang southernmost town ng province and the trip was about 7-8 hours. A few miles to the north is Candon City. Pagbaba namin ng bus, we just waited a short while for our lovely host na sunduin kami sa meeting place and when she arrived, we walked a short distance to their house.

Ganda ng bahay nila Ate Ghwen, 2 storey, 6 rooms ata yun if I remembered correctly and malalaki sila. We stayed in a big room with balcony pa :D

Ayun, nag-enjoy kami dun sobra. Hehe. That's probably one of the things we did that I enjoyed most. I mean, I've been eating peanuts all my life but I've never known what they actually looked like before being packed or cooked on the streets.

Sabi ni Ghwen, who is well-known nga pala sa lugar nila dahil siya pala ay naging "Majesty Queen" doon, ay may malapit na beach dun sa house so nilakad namin, turns out medyo malayo-layo pala siya pero ok lang, sanay naman ako maglakad. It was'nt really a "pang-resort" na beach because it was quite inaccessible from the main road but it was actually to our advantage kasi kami lang ang tao dun except for a few fishermen here and there. Plus it was about 6:30am kaya Solong-solo namin ang dagat.

Another beach we went to is called "Sabangan beach". This time we took a private van (oh ha) to get there. Mga 30mins yung ride with a stop over sa malaking grocery store in Candon City to grab some snacks and drinks. Dumating kami doon mga 3:30pm so medyo mainit-init pa yung araw, but I did'nt mind, lusong agad ako kasi atat na atat sa dagat.

Of course picture-picture lagi to the max, especially sa Sabangan beach. Everyone had their camera phones while I brought my Ate Bam's SLR film camera. I only had 1 roll of a 36shot film so medyo nititipid ko sya nung una, but unfortunately hindi ko rin naman siya naubos dahil di ko sya dinadala lagi pag lumalabas kami, na-hassle siguro ako dahil bulky siya.

Anyways, if we weren't out swimming we were mostly just hanging-out sa house. Nagma-Magic Sing, nanunood ng TV, kumakain ng mangga, mais, singkamas, or kung anu man. Naglalakad-lakad sa town at niaadmire yung mga simbahan, ni-eexperience mag-igib sa balon, Plus I slept a lot in the afternoons, haha :D

Before we left for home, we went back to Candon to buy some pasalubongs, I only bought a pack of Calamay kasi I'm the only one at home ang may gusto talaga nun, plus we already picked a lot of mangoes and peanuts to bring home.

Our trip back home was 11pm so before dinner, we joined this holy week thing called "Stations of the Cross", well, half of it kasi nasa 9th station na nung sumunod kami. I didn't really know what it was coz I'm not a Catholic, but all of them were there so I tagged along nalang. Hehe.

Well, I guess that's it, I had a great time sa Ilocos, sana more bakasyon trips to come. I'll post some pics once I get my hands on them, di ko pa kasi napapa-develop yung sa cam ko, as I've said hindi pa nga ubos, hehe.

See Yah!
